Irpin Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings


Description

The project will implement energy saving measures in 21 public buildings  in the city of Irpin to decrease energy consumption and costs for operation and maintenance, reduce CO2 emission, and introduce alternative energy supply technologies such as heat pumps, solar thermal and Solar PV, wherever financially feasible.

Visibility and improving comfort level in schools/kindergartens for 7.000 pupils and about 100.000 visitors at healthcare institutions contributes to raising the public understanding and awareness of the importance of energy efficiency as well improves the educational environment of children. In connection with the support to improve energy management processes on city-level, additional long-term energy savings in public utilities can be expected.
